The Beatles: Raro outtake de “Yellow Submarine”

 

Demo integrará o relançamento do álbum “Revolver” e traz John Lennon ao microfone, ao invés de Ringo Starr.

Foi lançada hoje “Yellow Submarine (Songwriting Work Tape / Part 1)”, trazendo a voz de John Lennon e não a de Ringo Starr, que apareceu no álbum "Revolver", 7º álbum de estúdio dos Beatles.

Na gravação, totalmente embrionária e na base do improviso, Lennon cantarola a melodia e canta uma letra ainda inconclusa.

“Os caras costumavam escrever uma música para mim a cada disco. Eles apresentavam qualquer coisa que achassem que servia. Tinham essa canção e decidiram trabalhar nela.” - explicou Ringo.

Supersivor deste trabalho, Giles Martin, filho do "5º beatle", o grande produtor, George Martin, comentou:

“Eu não fazia ideia que a fita existia. Não teria sido tão comercial naquela forma original. Você pode ouvi-los trabalhando juntos e empurrando uns aos outros em direções diferentes.”

“Revolver - Edição Especial" chegará no dia 28 de outubro próximo.
