1981 - O Capitol Theatre em Passaic NJ era diferente de qualquer outra sala de concertos do mundo. Local de rock and roll à noite, o Capitol era um cinema para maiores de 18 anos durante o dia. O teatro era de propriedade e administrado pelo lendário promotor de shows John Scher, o Bill Graham da Costa Leste. Scher começou a produzir shows no Capitol com 3.200 lugares em 1971, logo após o fechamento do Fillmore East. Graças a Scher, muitos dos maiores artistas do rock, como The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, The Who e Bruce Springsteen, fariam shows no Capitol muito depois de se tornarem superestrelas vendendo nossos estádios de 50.000 lugares. Esta transmissão da WNEW_FM captura o show do 10º aniversário do Capito em 10 de dezembro de 1981, 41 anos atrás hoje.
