Os 200 melhores discos de todos os tempos

Resolvi fazer a minha lista também, mas mantive-me em apenas 200 álbuns que considero essenciais e fizeram parte da minha cultura musical.
É importante frisar que a lista reflete exclusivamente as minhas escolhas, e para elabora-la utilizei como critério os álbuns que mais escutei nas ultimas décadas e sua importância em minha formação musical. Obviamente escolhi discos de todos os estilos que gosto, como rock, jazz, fusion, blues, MPB, hard rock heavy metal e soul music.

Claro que muita coisa boa ficou de fora. Se fosse colocar todos os álbuns que realmente gosto, minha lista ultrapassaria facilmente os 500 discos. Algumas bandas em especial foi difícil escolher o melhor álbum. Bandas como Led Zeppelin ou Black Sabbath em sua fase com Ozzy, mereciam ter todos os álbuns na lista. Nesses casos, a escolha recai por determinado disco que você escuta mais naquele momento.
Em outros casos como o Focus, fui menos óbvio, e ao invés de escolher o disco mais clássico, escolhi o que mais gosto e escutei, afinal de contas a lista é minha. Também tentei deixar de fora discos que foram gravados ao vivo, mas realmente não consegui, pois muitos dos meus discos favoritos foram gravados neste formato. Sem contar que muitos álbuns ao vivo são realmente antológicos e não podem ficar de fora de qualquer lista dos melhores, como o caso de Made in Japan do Deep Purple e At Filmore East do Allman Brothers, apenas para citar dois exemplos.
