1973 Bonnie Raitt – Takin’ My Time

.Takin' My Time é o terceiro álbum de estúdio da musicista americana Bonnie Raitt . Foi lançado em 1973 pela Warner Bros. Records. O álbum é uma amálgama de vários gêneros diferentes, incluindo blues, folk, jazz, rhythm and blues de Nova Orleans e calypso. As 10 faixas do álbum são covers, variando de baladas suaves e sentimentais a faixas animadas e rítmicas pesadas. Lowell George foi originalmente contratado para cuidar da produção, mas acabou sendo substituído por John Hall quando Raitt ficou descontente com sua produção.

Takin' My Time recebeu críticas positivas de críticos musicais e alcançou a posição 87 na parada US Billboard Top LPs & Tapes.
