A banda The Letters formou-se em Bath, em 1978, em meio ao renascimento cultural Mod, e caiu no esquecimento após alguns anos, lançando apenas um single, "Nobody Loves Me" (abril de 1980). A banda era composta por um trio: Mike Lodge (vocal e baixo), Steve Marsh (guitarra) e Kevin Reed (bateria). Vinte anos depois, em 2002, The Letters se reuniu e gravou o álbum "Here Comes That Feeling Again".
